The Oak & Pine Chalet offers breathtaking views that include Big Bear Lake and Bear Mountain Ski Resort! Forest setting, surrounded by pine trees and mature oak trees. Decks to relax on-one upper, two lower to choose your panoramic view of Big Bear. Walking distance to the hiking trails and sledding areas. The space Two bedroom downstairs, main has queen bed, second bedroom has bunk bed with full size on the bottom, twin on top. Sofa upstairs that can be open to full bed, 1 ½ bath, fully equipped kitchen, coffee station (complimentary Nespresso, pour over coffee, French press, drip coffee, tea) living room with wood burning stove with complimentary wood, propane BBQ, Washer/Dryer, Free Wifi, Roku for streaming movies, Netflix, Youtube TV, Amazon, etc. Flat screen 55” 4K HD TV. Electric Dart Board, Board games. Barrel Sauna with Panoramic windows and Harvia Electric heater. One mile from Golf course, Zoo, Bear Mountain Ski, walking distance to forest hiking trails, faces west for gorgeous Lake/Sunset Views!!! House is 1000+sq. We welcome pets ! Please let us know how many and the type of dog(s) upon booking. Guest access Enter from front stairs up to living room or enter from downstairs back doorway that leads to downstairs bedroom. Please note, security camera facing driveway in front of house. Other things to note Chalet is located in upper elevation of Moonridge (hence the beautiful views) and access can be comprised during extreme winter weather. The driveway up to the chalet is fairly steep and about 25 feet. Heavy snow/ice can hamper access to chalet. Please note in extreme snow/weather conditions you will be allowed to reschedule or you can keep reservation. Per the Big Bear Lake City rules, street parking is not allowed. While we have stairs leading up to the chalet from the city street, Parking in the chalet driveway is especially important during the winter months, as the city snow plows must have the roads clear to do their job. The city will ticket and/or tow vehicles parked on city streets blocking the snow plows path. Four wheel drive vehicle recommended during inclement weather. Per Caltrans, Snow Chains are required to be in the vehicle during the winter months. Application of the snow chains on non- four wheel drive vehicles will will be dependent on the road conditions. Garbage: Upon checking out per the Big Bear Lake city rules, guests are to take their garbage to one of the city garbage drop sites. There are no exterior trash bins on property due to the wildlife in the area. Please find the closest garbage drop site to the chalet. Address to the site: 41970 Garstin Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. It’s a pretty straight shot down the hill on Moon Ridge Road from the chalet on the way out of town. Renters are responsible for any and all damage to the chalet and property caused renters accidently or by negligence.
