Kayak and fish right from the back yard! Enjoy the fire pit, propane grill, picnic table, board games, and over 150 books. Walk to the dog park and trails a block away, or watch the barges on the nearby Saint Clair River. The space BRING YOUR PETS! The back yard is fully fenced. (Dogs don't go over the sea wall to the canal, as you'll see when you arrive.) There is a $50 pet fee which covers the first two dogs. Please de-poop the back yard and de-fur the house before you leave. We provide dog bowls, a tie down, a pooper scooper, catnip, and a litter box on request. There's also a large dog crate in the back room ENJOY BONUS KITTIES! You might be greeted by our two friendly cats, Taro and Meensie. Taro is gray and Meensie is black with white paws. Feel free to let them inside for purrs and petting. Just text us so we know where they are. (Or just shoo them away and they'll skedaddle.) NOTE: OUR HOME IS DRUG-FREE Marijuana is not permitted anywhere on the property, and tobacco smoking is not allowed indoors. Please see our house rules for full details. Guest access You will have full run of the house, backyard and patio. Other things to note The canal behind the cottage is full of water and fish! There is also a great kayaking and canoeing spot a mile or so away at the Belle River canoe launch.
