The Roost Merthyr Tydfil is a small gated cabin site tucked away in a quiet spot. Arosfa is our self-contained ensuite cabin made for bikers, hikers and outdoor explorers. From The Roost, ride straight onto the Taff Trail (route 8) and reach BikePark Wales in 15 minutes, or its a short drive into the Brecon Beacons National Park. At the end of a busy day, unwind by the firepit. Our cabins are cosy, practical and dog-friendly - with your own secure bike/gear storage and awesome facilities. The space Arosfa is our cosy, self-contained ensuite cabin at The Roost Merthyr Tydfil - a small, peaceful cabin site designed with outdoor lovers in mind. Perfectly placed for adventure, we’re right on the Taff Trail (Cycle Route 8), just a 15 minute ride from BikePark Wales and a short drive in to the Brecon Beacons National Park. Whether you’re here to ride, hike, explore or simply switch off, Arosfa gives you a warm, practical base to return to. The cabin sleeps two adults and one child in our signature 4ft-wide/small double bunk bed - spacious for one, cosy for two. Inside you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including an ensuite shower room, kitchenette, heating, and a private lockable Asgard bike store just behind the cabin. The Roost is a secure gated site with five cabins, space for a couple of small campervan and awesome facilities, creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere without feeling busy. You can bring your own bedding and towels, or add them on if needed.
