The chalet sleeps up to 12 in 5 ensuite bedrooms and almost every room in the chalet gives the opportunity to enjoy the sunny views over Pleney. The ski bus stops right outside the chalet & after a day on the mountains you can hop into the outdoor hot tub or relax on the terrace; making the most of the beautiful scenery. The space Chalet Lumina, named after the Latin word for “light,” is a beautifully renovated five-bedroom farmhouse designed to celebrate space, comfort and connection with the surrounding landscape. With uninterrupted south-westerly views over the Pleney slopes and Morzine valley, it offers an exceptional alpine experience just 10 minutes drive from the ski lifts. This light-filled chalet features expansive bifold doors in the main living area, giving the sensation of being suspended above the valley. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area flows seamlessly into a large balcony and outdoor space, making the most of the extraordinary views. Elegant interiors combine natural stone tones, Alpine woodwork and subtle luxury throughout. The AliKats Mountain Holidays team are on hand to help you organise lift passes (winter) or Multipasses (summer), and you’ll find plenty more details on the AliKats website. Guest access You have access to all areas, other than a couple of locked store cupboards. The hot tub is included in the winter season - December - April. From April to November you can opt into using the hot tub for €200 per stay. Please advise us if you wish to opt in! Other things to note Morzine: A Year-Round Alpine Escape Just 90 minutes from Geneva Airport, Morzine is a charming alpine town steeped in traditional Savoyard character. It’s a fantastic destination throughout the year, offering a rich variety of experiences for every kind of traveller. In winter, Morzine is a key resort in the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, with 650km of pistes and 193 lifts linking it to Avoriaz, Les Gets, Châtel and even Switzerland. Whether you're a complete beginner or an expert seeking off-piste adventure or scenic ski touring, there's terrain for everyone to enjoy. As the snow melts, Morzine blossoms into a summer haven for mountain bikers, hikers, yogis and wild swimmers. We love the long, sunny days spent exploring flower-filled trails and spotting alpine wildlife. Take a dip or try paddleboarding at the stunning Lac de Montriond, swim in the 50m open-air pool, go horse riding through the Parc des Dérêches, or unwind with a peaceful afternoon of fishing. For thrill-seekers, there’s climbing, white-water rafting, via ferrata and canyoning to get the adrenaline flowing.
