Wood burning stove in winter is very warming. Aesthetically beautiful with buddhas, paintings, antiques and a large HD TV with SKY Q and Wifi, a fusion of old and new. This house has a deeply peaceful atmosphere with an open plan downstairs, high ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms, all with a great feeling of Light and space. Guest access The house is situated in the heart of midhurst and yet set way back with a sea gravel courtyard ,The house is quiet and peaceful with large deck and gardens. Easy access to town where Midhurst is filled with copious amounts of restaurants, pubs, cafes and Cowdray Castle ruins a five minute walk away, St. Annes Hill (a Norman Castle hill fort ruin), the river and fine country walks, Cowdray golf club, clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing is only a five minute drive away. The area is filled with historic attractions including Petworth House (where Turner the painter lived), Weald and Downland (an outstanding museum), The West Dean gardens and many Gastro pubs in charming villages nestled in the South Downs National park all within a 10 minute drive. Other things to note The house has a very large deck with a truly lovely view, guests are welcome to sit outside with a cup of tea, or an early evening drink. The Indian Ocean teak table on the deck seats 8 people.
