The space Welcome to the Dome in Gunnison! Stay in a unique spheroid dome home nestled on an acre of peaceful land, just a short walk to the Gunnison River via the Van Tuyl trail. Our property offers easy access to the only plowed walking trail in town — perfect for cross-country skiing in the winter, and ideal for biking and fishing in the summer. You’ll be staying on a shared property with other friends and family, including our quiet family of three who loves to garden, make pottery, and enjoy the outdoors during warm months. Private bathroom and parking. Other things to note If you’d like to explore dome land for your vacation please know we are a family and community space. We are a family of three, with a toddler in the main house. The bedroom shares a wall with the rest of the house. Our toddler mostly sleeps through the night and often wakes up before 7 am. We also have a calico kitten named Mayuna that lives on property so it’s not recommended for guests with allergies. We welcome you to use the back patio to relax or BBQ but please note there is absolutely no partying or smoking allowed on the property.
