Rural Village Coach House close to Bristol Airport
Description
The Coach House is a small cottage attached to the Georgian House, Felton Villa. Guests have their own entrance and private garden. It is conveniently close to Bristol airport and an easy drive to Bristol (20 min), Bath (45 min), Wells, Cheddar and the North Somerset Coast. There is a range of country pubs in the region. The space The Coach House is situated in a country village close to Bristol airport (but not in the flight path) and is very quick (20 min not in rush hour) into Bristol benefitting from both Somerset countryside and city locations. It is an annexe to our main house, Felton Villa. The Coach House has its own separate front door, private garden and is self-check-in using a key box next to the front door. Dogs are welcome but it is requested that owners prevent their pets climbing on furniture and use the blanket provided to cover anything your dog might find irresistible. We ask for a £20 one-off fee for anyone staying with dogs (please see house rules). Whilst staying at the Coach House, parking is “on street” at the side of Felton Villa (however, this space is not for "airport parking") The Smart TV has free access to Netflix, etc. A travel cot (with bedding), baby monitors, sink steps and a high chair is available upon request as are all the other family amenities described on this site. The Master bedroom has a kingsize bed with its own private bath. The Middle/ Landing bedroom is a walk through room from the Master to the bathroom. A screen is used for added privacy. It has a kingsize bed. Downstairs, the living room has the option of a single or small double sofa bed, on request, if you need to squeeze in extra guests. There is a small loo and shower room in this room. The use of this room incurs a cost of £40 per night (this will automatically be added to your bill if you book for 5 or more guests. If you’d like this room for 4 or fewer guests then payment would have to be sorted on check out either in cash or via bank transfer/Pay Pal) Please note, the Coach House is perfect for groups of up to 4, but is a squeeze at 6! However, it can accommodate larger groups if necessary. Walking maps for the surrounding countryside and into the Mendips are available to borrow. WiFi is free. A BBQ available on request. There is a post office 5 min drive with all the main newspapers and a small village shop. The village pub (The George and Dragon ) is only a 5-10 minute walk away and serves lunch and dinner (and also has a tea room). The Prince of Waterloo pub is a 5 min drive and serves lunch and dinner. A 10 min drive into the surrounding Chew Valley villages have a variety country pubs. Local takeouts include excellent Indian (Chew Stoke), Chinese (Winford), Fish and Chips (Backwell). The Salt and Malt looking over the Lake is lovely. Chew Valley lake offers a range of activities. Guest access The Coach House and its garden is entirely available to the guests' of the Coach House solely. Other things to note Number of guests 4 (or five or six- there’s a single day bed in the living room or a small double sofa bed, 1 king size bed in the master bedroom and one king size bed in the walkthrough room).
