River and Mountains Meet at this Quiet Space

Enjoy this cozy riverside guest room--close to the Umpqua National Forest. At the River Room, The North Umpqua River is yours to fish, bird watch, go boating, walk, or otherwise enjoy the flowing river lifestyle. Play horseshoes along the riverbank backyard or cook marshmallows over a lava rock firepit (seasonal). Your stay includes parking, patio, tile floors, queen bed, full bathroom w/2sinks, large skylight, overhead fan, mini refrig, microwave, coffee maker, Dyson fan or heater w/remote. The space Quiet and cozy room attached to a full 2-sink bathroom with tub/shower. Mountains/hills and a small grass airstrip seen from the front and the riverbank backyard. Deer always pass through. Lots of different birds all around the property from cranes to eagles to blue jays, hummingbirds, and mourning doves. This is not so much a room to hang out inside, but a place to explore and enjoy what nature has to offer along the gorgeous Umpqua River. Guest access Backyard is shared space with the hosts, but we try to give you your space, so please don't hesitate to hang out in the backyard. In fact, we encourage you to do so often--day or night. Play horseshoes, eat, drink, talk, watch the moon, or just enjoy the view and wildlife. Other things to note Close to the Umpqua National Forest and a short drive to Diamond Lake.
