Imagine you are sitting in an Adirondack chair in your backyard, sipping coffee. This unique house is capable of comfortably hosting 9 people and has excellent access to 200 acres of family owned private hiking trails. It is located in the heart of the high Peaks Region between Keene and Keene Valley. Pets are welcome with a $100 pet fee. The space This house is built on top of a cliff and follows the contour of the ground. Every room and space is at a different level and has steps you go up or down to enter. Although each room has a fireplace, we have closed them off for safety reasons. Each of the 5 lower bedrooms has baseboard heating. The living room has a large stocked fireplace but no other heating source, and the kitchen is also not heated. Guest access Enjoy the house and surrounding property. Use the road or the marked walking path to access the house and be careful of the cliffs that surround the house. Other things to note To make our unique property more accessible, we have made the decision to accept large groups in our home. We can sleep up to 9. We charge an extra nightly fee of $25 per person for each person after 4 people (Airbnb will add these fees on automatically before you book). We are happy to provide linens for up to 9 people, provided you tell us your group number in advance. We also accept pets with a flat fee of $100. The marked walking paths on our private 200 acres are also for your enjoyment but please always make sure you can see two markers at all times while using the paths. This will keep you on the path and avoid wandering down a false path created by deer or other animals. It is super easy to get turned around so please stay on the marked paths. This land has two other houses I rent that also use the marked paths.
