Essex Mill Pond is a private 47 acre pond that will leave your family refreshed. Take it easy at this unique and peaceful getaway. If you like fishing for large bass or crappie, kayaking, or just relaxing on the porch swing with an amazing view; this place is for you. If you have a boat, there is a drop off (no gas motors, please!). Bring your poles! The space The house is a one bedroom home with a queen bed however guests can stay on an extra cot stored in the bedroom closet or bring an air mattress. Other things to note Great local venues around for when you want to get out include Caret Cellars, a local vineyard/winery. For breakfast and great coffee, Java Jacks or Prince Street Cafe is a must. Take a stroll in the nearby downtown area of Warsaw to find gourmet popcorn at the Northern Neck Popcorn Bag, fantastic food at The Old Rapp Tap House and amazing donuts at the Chesapeake Donut Company. For golfers, Hobbs Hole Golf Course is less than 5 miles away and also has an amazing restaurant located inside the club house. To fish the nearby Rappahannock River, the public boat launch is a half mile away.
