Best view and central location ever. We would be very happy to let you enjoy the place while you stay in Marseille. My mother Brigitte (co-host) who lives in Marseille, helps me manage the apartment and will be your point of contact locally. You might even meet my grand mother or aunt upon check in. The whole family take good pride taking care of the apartment. Right in the middle of Marseille, in front of the old pier, 165m2 fully renovated apartment, with A/C in every room (weather can be warm in Marseille in summer). You will find : 3 large bedrooms + an additional family room wit 2 single beds closed by a glass window (we have made sure it is sound proof and added nice curtains for intimacy :)). Each room , including the family room, as its own ensuite bathroom. A large living room with an amazing view over the old pier An open kitchen fully equipped (incl. a dishwasher and a nespresso coffee machine), and all cookings essentials. Perfect for a family stay or to share with friends. Each room has 2 single beds. We have 2 extra beds that we can add to 2 or the bedrooms. So if you are 10, you will be 3 sleeping in 2 of the bedrooms. The apartment is well suited for young children (we have a porta cot, highchairs, and some toys for 0-4 years old). Below a review from one of our guest that we are proud to share : "The view over the Old Port (including the Notre Dame church on the hill) is genuinely stunning. The sliding glass balcony doors can retract entirely into the wall, opening the entire living room to the balcony and the outdoors. There's even an electronically adjustable awning to protect the balcony from the elements. Aside from the balcony, the rest of the apartment is also great. There's an open area with a well-equipped kitchen that has a dish washer, a big dining table, and a living room. We found the apartment to be very spacious, and each bedroom has its own full bathroom. There is an enormous hot water tank, which allowed us to have multiple showers going a the same time without issue. Three of the four bedrooms also have access to outdoor spaces. Because we only needed three of the four bedrooms, the fourth bedroom functioned like a family room as it had a couch and a TV. The separate clothes dryer is worth mentioning as well as most places we stayed at only had a washer. A tip that may be helpful is to empty the water collection container in the upper left portion of the machine before use (it took us one load of still-wet clothes to figure this out, but it was smooth sailing after that). There were also big drying racks if you preferred to air dry your clothes. The apartment is right on the Old Port (which houses catamarans and other boats - it is different from the industrial port), with close access to a grocery store, a bag storage place, and a metro stop (2 stops from St. Charles Station). The Marseille hop-on hop-off bus stop is just a few hundred feet away for those who are interested. I want to circle back to the main balcony and living room. The couch faces the balcony so at the end of each day we would just sit there, rest our tired feet, and admire the amazing view. These moments helped us soak in the peace and relaxation of our vacation."
