Beautiful 1 bedroom unit with Queen Size Simmons Pillow Top Mattress, Serta sofa sleeper in living room. walk-in rain shower, vaulted ceiling, new stainless steel appliances. 2nd floor unit, right in town. AC in the bedroom, but there is a surcharge for use. This unit has a great cross breeze, & we have only had a few guests who have used it. Although pets live on the property, they do not live in this unit. We have cats, dogs and chickens. NEW SWIMMING POOL! The space Located in an historic 300 year old danish building in the heart of Frederiksted. Our property, like most on this sleepy little Caribbean island, is true open style living. You will not find glass windows here. We have screen and shutters to invite the outside in. True island living is about enjoying Nature! Although we are right in town, we do still have country noises. Not traffic jams, or even much traffic for that matter! But there is nature everywhere. Chickens and Roosters roam freely throughout the island, as well as in our courtyard..horses graze under trees, people have dogs..lots of them. In the fall and winter, the tree frogs come alive and it sounds like a concert! This is one of the many things we love about island living! If you find the need, you may close-up the shutters in the bedroom at night, and run the AC..**surcharge for use of AC applies***..but we suggest you try it the island way first..invite the sounds of nature inside.. amazing! and isn't it part of why you chose to visit our beautiful island? Walk everywhere, beach, shops, restaurants! Owners live on-site. This unit currently sleeps 4, but would be cramped for 4 adults. Please check with us about accommodations of more than 4 before you book this unit. Absolutley NO SMOKING! Beautiful 1/2 acre PRIVATE gated courtyard, AND secure. We have meticulously updated this unit to give you the comforts of home, while still experiencing the true Caribbean, unspoiled by massive stateside resorts. Guest access 2 sea kayaks, snorkel gear, BBQ grill, large courtyard with hammock chairs, reading area, fire pit. Other things to note We live here on property, full time. We have pets. We are smoke free, as are ALL PUBLIC places on St Croix. 4 of our units have AC in the bedrooms . We personally have never used them. There is an extra fee for AC usage except during prime weeks..which are Christmas, New Years and Spring Break/Easter. Just ask, we can tell you. Electricity is a very expensive commodity on the island, so we try to conserve as much as possible :)
