The Mallard house is conveniently located 15 minutes from the quaint town of Dover where you can find all the necessities. Nashville is 1.5 hours for those wanting a day trip to the city and Land Between the Lakes is 20 minutes for those seeking outdoor adventures! The space The Mallard house is the epitome of peaceful. Located in rural Tennessee, come enjoy the quiet of the country with some outdoor adventure mixed in. Dover has all the necessities such as a grocery store and a few local restaurants but it is a very small town. The nearest big town with nightlife and commercial stores is about 40 minutes away. Our home is nestled in nature so be prepared to use your bug spray! We love our river view of the cove, and taking the canoe or kayaks out for a day on the water. Guests will have to walk up stairs to get to the main floor! Guest access Parking is easy since the house is on a secluded road. Other things to note The house is rural. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and spend quality time with friends and family, it's perfect. If you are looking for nightlife and indoor activities be prepared for a 40minute drive. It's truly a cabin in the woods. We have a hardwired Ethernet cable in the office for any guests needing to work remotely! Absolutely NO smoking inside the house.
