The resort offers a ‘kiddies’ pool, adult pool, recreational area with 4 large BBQ-grills (It's free, but please book in advance), picnic tables, a small playground, and hard surface tennis and (half) basketball practice court. There is also a gym which overlooks the pool area and has plenty of fitness equipment to keep you fit during your stay! The pool area is surrounded by sunlounges, lounge chairs, tables and parasols and is the perfect place to relax. . NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Palm Beach offers plenty of water sports companies, piers, beach bars, restaurants, entertainment, casinos and shops. Two of the largest shopping malls in Aruba, Palm Beach Plaza Mall and Paseo Herencia, cater to the shopping fever and offer various restaurants, cinema theaters, water fountain shows, game rooms, bowling, arcade games and Spa facilities. At night this area comes to life as the various lively nightclubs, cafe, bars and restaurant give an upbeat entertainment experience. Just a stone’s throw away from the Palm Aruba Condos you can find a variety of eating places – from breakfast to dinner -, a gas station, several convenient stores, a local bank and the Caribbean famed ‘Island Yoga Center’ – a yoga sanctuary in Aruba. . GETTING AROUND the Palm Beach area You can use the bus service - and it is pretty good if you just want to go into the city for some shopping or just to walk around, but you'll miss out on some great exploring of the island if you don't rent a car. There are several car rental companies in the Palm Beach area and they are quite reasonable. There are also a number of bike hire companies on the island and you will generally find them good value and easy-going. You will find further information online and, after you arrive, our concierge service at the main desk will be happy to help you. Same voltage and socket type as US and Canada (120v). 2. How far is it to the beach and the Airport from the condo? 700 meters to the beach (about 10 min walk to Palm Beach) and 9,7 km to the airport (about 20 min driving). 3. Do we need to rent a car during my stay? Palm Beach is only 10 min walk from the condo, however, if you plan to explore the island then yes you definitely benefit from having a car. 4. Where could I rent a car? If you are planning to explore the island, then yes, we recommend to book a car. 5. Do you have an available cooler, beach chairs, and umbrellas? We provide one cooler and four beach chairs. While we don't offer umbrellas, we can recommend a company for affordable rentals. 6. What is the Internet speed? The basic download speed within the resort is between 15mbps-25mbps. 7. Do you provide baby cots? Yes, upon request 8. Will you provide towels? Yes, a white set to use in the flat and a yellow set to take to the beach or pool. Please note that towels will not be replaced. Please keep in mind this stay is an ‘Airbnb’ type stay and if you require additional cleaning, fresh bed linen, and clean towels during your stay there is an extra charge. 9. The unit has a washing machine and dryer? Yes, all apartments have a washing machine and dryer for the exclusive use of the guest. 10. Are there any shops and restaurants around the resort? There are many shops, restaurants, and bars along walk distance towards the Hotel & Beach area.
