Experience an unusual stay in a typical Canadian accommodation: the trapper's cabin. All in round wood, its charm and rusticity will make you live a most pleasant moment and will plunge you back into the era of yesteryear. Enjoy your stay! The space Our trapper's camp is located on the edge of the forest facing the lake. This cabin has a queen bed, a double sofa bed and a single folding bed that can accommodate a child (bedding included). You will also find an indoor toilet, electricity and a kitchenette (small fridge, camping stove and microwave). There's no water at the trapper's camp. A can of drinking water will be given to you upon arrival. Access to showers is available free of charge on the farm site (towels not provided). Guest access In summer, you can park directly at the trapper's camp. You will then have to walk for one minute to access it (current period) In winter, you will have to park your vehicle 500 meters on foot from the trapper's camp. Subsequently, a walk of about 7 minutes, or snowshoeing depending on weather conditions, will be necessary to access your accommodation. It is therefore essential to plan your luggage accordingly or to book, if you wish, the luggage transport service ($). Other things to note During your stay, you will also have access to my family business, the 5-star Farm. You can enjoy the wide choice of 4-season activities available to you! In winter: dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice fishing ($). In summer: whale cruises, black bear watching, sea kayaking, quad biking, fishing, guided kennel tour, dog sledding or horseback riding ($). In the morning, you can even participate in a free guided tour with our technician to discover our different animals (bison, wolves, moose, lynx, etc.).
