Quiet, Private, 1 BR Apt @ Boardwalk / Beach

Our newly renovated apartment in The Beaches is steps from Lake Ontario, the Beach + Boardwalk, close to restaurants and pubs, and just a (24 hr) streetcar ride to Leslieville, or straight downtown. It has a large open space living / dining space, a fully-equipped cook's kitchen, separate bedroom with comfy queen bed and en-suite bathroom, shared laundry, private backyard, and unlimited high-speed WiFi/Internet. Ideal for a single or couple, maybe with an older child. Everyone Welcome. The space Our newly renovated basement level apartment is bright, clean, and stylishly furnished. Painted white, with stainless steel track lighting and appliances, it is kept cozy with a heated slate floor through the entire apartment. Ceilings are at least 8 feet high, and the room sizes are generous. The kitchen, dining area, and sitting area are one large, flowing, open space. The kitchen is very well equipped with full-size appliances: a high-end gas stove with separate grill, fridge, microwave, and very quiet dishwasher. There is seating for four at a full-sized round table. Full sets of dinnerware, cutlery, and glassware are provided, and there are all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils you might need. The living room has two couches (one of which converts to a Queen size bed). There is a gas fireplace with remote, an occasional chair, and Apple TV. There is very high-speed unlimited wireless Internet, and a full-sized desk with a printer / scanner. A separate bedroom has a very comfy Queen bed. The en-suite bath has a glass-walled shower (rain head, body, and hand-held, no tub), with on-demand hot water. There is a full closet and dresser for your use. The private backyard is yours to use during your stay, and has a dining table and chairs, and two lounge chairs. A note about travelling with children: Our apartment is an adult space, with lots that is breakable. Nothing is childproof. There is a gas stove. The bathroom is en-suite and shower only (no tub). The entrance to the bathroom is through the bedroom. This is our own apartment. It is not an AirBnB sterile, anonymous space. We ask that our guests treat it with respect. Guest access The apartment is yours for the duration of your stay. You have a private entrance through the backyard, which is also your private space. Other things to note This is a very quiet apartment, with little city noise. You may hear some footfalls or happy dog feet from upstairs. Sadly, my apartment is no longer welcoming visiting dogs.
