Casa de Mati

Casa de Mati is a terraced house, recently reurfubised to a very comfortable standard: it is my Home after all ! The Village is quiet, but don´t let that fool you as there are a lot of events through out Spring and Summer! There are parades, bands and many fireworks on Saints days. There are films shown in the main square, live music and Theatre. A couple of special markets too, with local Artisan producers and crafts. The locals are so very friendly and welcoming! The space The Lounge is as you enter the house, with comfy sofas and a woodburner for the colder times. The fully fitted kitchen leads off from here. There is an elecxtric hob & oven, kettle and fridge /freezer. A dishwasher too. Pots. pans and crockery are provided , as well as BBQ tools & tableware. Basics for cooking like oil, seasonings etc are available as are cleaning products. There are Chairs, table and Parasol for outdoor dining on the private patio. The BBQ is just up the steps on the next terrace, for guests use. Also downstairs, are the shower room with toilet, dining area and a single bedroom. Upstairs off the large landing are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a Kingsize bed , and has Aircon. The second bedroom has a double bed, and is very cosy in the cooler months with the heat from the chimney . The Bathroom is along the landing, it has a full bath with hand held shower, basin and toilet. There is storage and hair dryer and products for guests use. The door leads out to the middle terrace a great place to get early morning sun, then the steps lead up to the roof terrace. There are power point on this terrace. The 360 degree views are lovely from here, at night in the summer has the advantage of cool breezes! I have now installed a TV in the house. I do not have a pool, but the village has one which is a lovely outdoor pool with area for relaxing. The restaurant & bar overlook the pool. Guest access As I let the entire house you and you alone have full access and do not share with me or other guests. You can eter from the front door or use the back door and the gates at the rear. If you have bicycles with you I would ask you use the back gates to bring them in to the patio. I do not have a garage, butI use the parking space in the Calle , which is really only used by a few other residents for access. Other things to note On some parts of the Airbnb listing it seems to suggest that I have a Pool. I DO NOT have one however, the Village pool is a few meters away and is very nice.
