Ecological house overlooking the sea
Description
Live a unique experience. Our cabin overlooking the sea was built from the principles of Permaculture and using Bio construction techniques. It is a living accommodation, pulsating along with our agro-forest in the middle of the Atlantic Forest. The ocean dances, the birds sing and the trees paint the colors of peace. Woodland, orchard, vegetable garden, starry sky... Spending a few days at here allows anyone to access its roots, breathe a purer air and feel the essence of life in every corner. The space Located at the southern end of Ilhabela, a quiet place away from the frisson of the center. Everything here is alive and is the result of work carried out by the owner Galeno Flavio Simões, Permaculturist, Bio vernacular architect and master in communication and expression, who over more than 40 years reforested the entire area, resulting in what is seen today with a multitude of species that make up the special fauna and flora of Sítio Santa Seiva. Anyone who comes to the Sítio should keep in mind that in addition to having a private place to take a shower and sleep, there is a lot of life everywhere, whether in plants, animals or residents, and this makes Sítio Santa hosting Sap something very special. We will provide bed sheets but kindly ask you to bring your own towels. We are available to clarify any doubts! Guest access In the extreme south, traffic is very mild and from the site you can access the beaches of Veloso and Curral in just 15 minutes. There are also natural pools, the port of São Pedro and the Veloso waterfall, which is one of the most beautiful on the island. Further south, it is possible to take the famous Bonete trail, or if you prefer, just the first part which already includes the lookout point of Buraco do cão and the Cachoeira da Laje waterfall. We can help you compose the itinerary and ensure that your trip is very well enjoyed with the best options and without wasting time! Other things to note Staying in the cabin and being here is a unique and unforgettable experience for those who seek peace, tranquility, direct and intense contact with nature and with its very essence. Here you can walk barefoot on the land, pick herbs directly in the garden, walk through the woods and see our diversity of flowers, hear the birds sing throughout the day and still enjoy and watch the sea meeting our coastline at sunset. Galeno and his "attachments" usually spend the evenings on the suspended balcony of the headquarters and everyone is welcome to follow the conversations and the spectacular view. During the day, we work on managing the forest, taking care of animals, harvesting vegetables, etc...feel free to accompany us and experience a little of the atmosphere up close. As we are installed and spread out in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, we must bear in mind that the presence of animals and insects is something common, although the incidence is very low and there are rare records of sightings of venomous snakes in the site's 40 years of existence .
