Description

Updated 1930s Bungalow on 1.5 acres . Duplex type home as a separate apartment with it's own entrance is in the back of home. Close to downtown Green Cove/Fairgrounds/access roads to Jacksonville & St. Augustine. Updated kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. Separate dining area/living room with large smart tv. Fast wifi. 2 bathrooms with updated fixtures. Enjoy a cool breeze on the covered front porch, which has beautiful wicker furniture and a wicker porch swing. The space 2 Bedrooms with queen bedroom with an en suite bath. Ceiling fan in master bedroom with remote. Spacious rooms with closets and all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. The house is equipped with tankless hot water. Please note that there is not a washer/dryer at the home. There are 2 laundromats in town. Home faces a main road through our town. Guest access Parking in front of the gated parking pad. Please do not park anywhere in the yard beyond the front of the parking pad as there is septic on property and could be damaged by a vehicle on it. Other things to note Some additional information to know prior to booking: Ring camera installed on front of house that records sound and video. Please note that the home/property is for the sole use of the guests under this reservation. No events/gatherings/parties/other people are allowed. The fireplace is NOT operational We have provided a Keurig coffee maker with an initial small sampling of complimentary K cups, creamers and sugars for your enjoyment. We will also supply one bath towel and wash cloth per guest. You may wish to bring additional ones if you would like more. The cottage is on septic so please DO NOT flush anything in the toilet except toilet paper. This includes NOT flushing personal hygiene products as wipes, feminine products, etc. In addition, please do not rinse/wash any grease from pans or dishes down the drain. If the property has a grill, then guests are responsible to purchase their own gas cylinders for it. DO NOT smoke/vape/use electronic cigarettes inside the home. We have provided seating and an ash tray outside for your use. Please ensure all doors and windows are closed so that smoke does not permeate inside. Please do NOT smoke on the porch furniture with cushions and pillows to avoid burns/liability for burns. During the summer, please do not set the AC below 73 degrees as this will cause the unit to malfunction and freeze causing failure. In the winter, please do not set the unit above 78 degrees. When leaving, please leave AC on and set it to 78 or heat to 68. Please do not turn AC or heat off unless instructed to do so. If you are staying at the home for a celebration, please note that streamers, etc. may not be taped or affixed to the walls, furniture, etc. Confetti is prohibited. If the home indicates infants and children are welcome, then please be aware the home is not child proof. If you must pick up decor, etc. so they are out of the way, then please be sure to put things back before check out. Do not rearrange any of the furniture as it will mark the floors. Do not drive or park on anything other than the designated parking area. If you or your party do drive in the yard, etc. you may be held liable for any damage done to the grass, septic system, tanks, pipes, etc. Please note that only 1 person at a time may sit on the front porch swing. It does have a maximum weight restriction of no more than 175 pounds. Please be sure that all of your guests are aware of this to avoid injury and damage. Do not allow children to use it as a playset/jungle gym. At the time of check out, all vehicles and personal property must be removed from the property. We are not able to accommodate parking of your vehicle at our home after check out or storing your luggage/etc. Also, all garbage must be bagged and tied and then placed in the trash cans outside of the home. Please hang up any damp/wet lines to keep them from mildewing. As well, please wash, dry and put away your dishes. Guests who damage the unit/items, cause stains or leave the premises in disrepair that requires more than routine cleaning, will be charged for such damage or cleaning, as well as for all missing items. Please respect our special place as if it were your own. Please note that alterations to decrease the guest count or the reservation dates may not be approved, especially if during the cancellation period, extended stay period or during the reservation time frame itself. On extended stays, we require that the guest provide their own linens ie: pillows/sheets/blankets/bath and kitchen linens. If this poses an issue for you then please let me know at the time of booking so that we may discussion options like a deposit for the linens, etc.
