Domaine Des Cigales in Alairac: Enjoy the charming setting of this romantic log cabin in the middle of nature, private jacuzzi, swimming pool, oak forest, a romantic view in the evening of the lights of the villages, in the background the Black Mountain, the sky without light pollution that allows you to enjoy an incredible starry sky. Breakfast is included, (the chalet is also equipped with a kitchen). Around you observe Canelle, Jappeloup, Clovis the donkeys, etc... The space Wooden log cabin located in the heart of nature, on the edge of the oak forest of our 8-hectare estate, cabin equipped with all modern comforts, without superfluous, a bed for 2 people (160 x 200), a second bed (70 x 190) for one person, accessible with the ladder (don't hesitate to take a look at the photos ^^). A kitchen equipped with gas stoves, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, dishes and kitchen utensils. Shower and toilet. The bed is placed facing the large bay window overlooking the terrace of the chalet with views of the meadow, forest, vineyards, the village of Alairac and the Black Mountain. The spa is private and accessible on your terrace, from here you can enjoy the starry sky at night and the beautiful view during the day in complete privacy. You can also admire the orchard from the chalet. A hiking trail (GR) passes right next to the Domaine that you can take to reach the village of Alairac (15-minute walk), or make the loop of about 2 hours. The estate is inhabited by our animals, the donkeys wander serenely and gently in the estate but love above all to stay around the chalet and stick to the window in the hope of caresses and treats, you can also observe French saddle horses, Shetlands, goats, peacocks, Ouessant sheep, Samoyeds, Pomeranian Spitz, Newfoundland and many others... We offer a tour of our passion breeding, present in a remote part of the estate, by appointment. Every morning breakfast will be offered at 10 a.m., the basket is brought to you in front of your room. We also offer meals served on a tray to your door by reservation, you have the choice (local and/or organic products): - a tray of snacks/tapas at the price of €14/person. - a cassoulet menu, homemade cassoulet, served generously, a generous portion of homemade cake or dessert, at the price of €24/person. - a paella menu, homemade paella, served generously, a generous portion of homemade cake or dessert, at a price of €24/person. At the estate you can access the small swimming pool, trampoline, balls, etc. depending on the season. Please don't hesitate to contact us for any further information. the city of Carcassonne is 10 km / 15 minutes from the Domaine 🤗 Guest access access to swimming pool, trampoline, access to private forest, GR hiking trail (loop of about 2 hours, download the app: rando grand carcassonne), private outdoor spa at the chalet (located on your terrace). Accessibility: The chalet is warm, and very well equipped, it is located 10 minutes by car from the city of Carcassonne and its castle, 5 minutes from the airport and the train station, 45 minutes from the beach, 1 hour 15 minutes from Spain, 40 minutes from Toulouse, 30 minutes from Castelnaudary (excellent cassoulet ^^). It is located in the heart of nature, the land is clayey, be sure to equip yourself with suitable shoes on rainy days. Insects live in this rich surrounding nature without distinguishing between the forest or the chalet, so if for example you decide to open your windows, don't hesitate to provide the necessary "hunting" equipment for flies/spiders/midges etc... if you prefer them far from you 😉🤗🌿🌍. the nearest grocery stores are 3 km away (within walking distance, mountain bike, car). Other things to note the heating method is a fireplace, we provide you with everything you need to start the fire, then if you need more firelighters, small wood or wood, you will find a supermarket 3 km away on foot which is the Alairacoise and where you will find firelighters and everything that will be missing during your stay (2 minutes by car ^^), you will find around the chalet a forest of small wood, help yourself^^, and also additional wood. Extra heating is also available if you can't light the fire 🎤😉 The jacuzzi is accessible year-round, the heating temperature depending on the outside temperatures can vary from 30 to 40 degrees. The toilets are macerating toilets, so it is forbidden to throw anything other than your excrement in them, otherwise they will be blocked or broken: a lump sum of 200 euros will be charged in case of breakage or blockage. The Domaine is located in a natural area and a huge forest, it is forbidden to make fires or barbecues other than electric and in a supervised manner. Please note that the pool is shared and open from May to September, the spas are private to each accommodation.
