ADVENTURE AWAITS! Now offering free use of two pair of our snowshoes during your stay! This quaint, well appointed 24' yurt is the perfect, cozy place to start your adventure at Mt Rainier National Park. Numerous hiking and snowshoeing trails offer outdoor exploring and cozy amenities make it perfect for inclement weather storm watching. Located less than a mile to the Nisqually entrance for quick access and avoiding the long lines on busy weekends! The space **Please see our new marketing video on YouTube or our website under HappyTails Cabins and Yurts!** Inside the Yurt you will find a wood stove, to keep cozy during the winter months, an opening dome for fresh air circulation and a mini-split HVAC that provides electric heat as well as A/C. Amazon Firestick TV with Netflix, Prime and more (please don't forget to sign out of your account when you leave). Starlink internet with battery backup to keep it all running. The kitchenette is stocked with sufficient equipment to cook your own meals. Pots and pans, microwave, 2 burner propane range, toaster, utensils, tea kettle, coffee grinder, French press, and basic spices complete the kitchenette area for indoor cooking. There is a dining room table with 4 chairs that can easily convert into an office space. The Yurt offers a queen bed located in a bedroom. On the bed you will find 100% cotton sheets, down comforter and a heated pad. A bathroom with bathroom amenities (towels, shampoo, body wash etc.). There is a SOLO stove for campfires in a private courtyard with old growth picnic table and Alaska yellow cedar Adirondack chairs, all made here. Guest access The yurt is all yours! There are two yurts about 75 yards apart, each with their own hot tub as well as privacy. There is a gravel turn around and two short driveways to each yurt. There is a lockbox right next to the door to the yurt and the code is provided upon booking. Other things to note Please make sure your booking includes all travels and pets for accurate pricing, accommodations, and space. We are dog/cat friendly and charge a $35 fee for your pets, and we kindly ask to not have your pets on the furniture. Pets are not allowed to be left in a cabin or yurt while you leave the property for a hike/dinner/etc. There is a local petsitter we can provide info on. We provide bowls and a pet towel to use during your stay as well as potty bags. Please ensure you clean up after your pets inside and out of the home. We are on our own well and septic. So only natural waste and toilet paper can be flushed. Fixing a septic clog is a minimum of $350 charge, so please remember to abide by these rules! You will lose your security deposit and be charged the difference if other articles are flushed. By booking with us you waive all liability for personal injury and property loss. There are small steps around the cabins, please exercise caution. Injuries are no fun for anyone and we want you to do nothing but enjoy your stay! Verizon seems to work best but it's not perfect either.
