Enjoy your personal space at an affordable price in our cozy and inviting home, with the house to yourself most of the time! Prairie Village is a great place to stay to get the best out of KC without the hustle and bustle of the city. We are walking distance to parks, tennis courts, and a swimming pool. Close to shopping, groceries, restaurants, and boutiques. Short drive to Waldo District (5 mins), Plaza (10 mins), Westport (10 mins), Downtown (15 mins), and Oak Park Mall (10 mins). This space is on the main floor with a private bedroom (queen bed) and office. There is also a full bathroom with a bath/shower, as well as ample storage. You will have the house to yourself most of the time, but will share the spaces below when we are in town. The shared spaces on the main floor are the kitchen, living room, dining room, and screened-in patio. The TV in the living room includes an Amazon Fire Stick with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, Disney+, and live TV. The kitchen has all appliances including an air fryer. Washer and dryer are in the basement. There is also a simple exercise space including weights (5lbs to 30lbs), a weight bench, yoga mats, and a stationary bike. Parking is available in driveway. Our space is perfect for those who enjoy their privacy! We no longer live full-time in Prairie Village, but visit regularly. When we are in town, we will be staying upstairs in the house and using the shared spaces on the ground floor and in the basement. We will give you advanced notice of when we will return and for how long, so you know to expect us. Quiet neighborhood good for walking and running. Nearby parks include Harmon Park, Santa Fe Trail Park, Porter Park, Windsor Park, Indian Hills Country Club, and Meadowbrook Park. Also close to Prairie Village Shops, Corinth Square, Waldo, Brookside, and Ward Parkway. Neighborhood is very walkable and there are several grocery stores, shops, and restaurants within 1-2 miles. There is a bus that runs in front of the house. Otherwise, Kansas City is a driving town and a car will be needed to get around. The house is located on a busy street, so street parking is not available. We do have private parking space for one car. Owner is born and raised in Prairie Village and a local business owner.
