Private room with mountain and ranch views on the top floor of our house. It’s one of three guest rooms in our house we have on Airbnb. We are in an isolated mountain valley on a gravel road. Our house is on a 2100 acre working cattle ranch. We are avid hunters and fishermen, and the common parts of our home show that. Travel times can be longer than expected. Check the “Where you’ll be” below for travel times to popular destinations. Early or late check in might be available by request. The space Your room windows overlook the ranch and parts of the West Elk mountains and Grand Mesa. The beds: One Queen, one full, two twins tucked into cubbies. There’s a reading nook with window views. En-suite full bathroom. Room also has a large desk with chair, Roku TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee and tea. Guest access Stairs are the only way to access this room. The kitchen, front deck, fire pit and laundry room are shared spaces with us and other guests in the other rooms. The front deck, overlooks part of the ranch and the West Elk mountains, has a propane fire feature and deck chairs. The fire pit out back has a picnic table, chairs and lounge chairs. The fire pit is a cool place to hang out with or without a fire. Propane bar-b-que directly out the back door of the house. There is a barbed wire fence around our “yard,” about 2.75 acres. Guests are free to explore the yard, but there can be livestock outside the yard, and we ask guests check with us before venturing further. During your stay We live in the house and are as available as guests would like us to be. We love meeting new people from new places, but if a guest wants complete privacy, they will have it in their room. Other things to note We greet our guests, show them their private room and shared spaces. Guests must climb a large flight of stairs to access this room. Our dogs are very friendly. They will bark though when you arrive. Your own dog is allowed in your room but our dogs are not allowed in your room. Please, do not feed our dogs or encourage them to jump on you. We have 4 outside cats. They are not allowed in the house. Check in is between 4 and 9pm. Please do not arrive outside of these hours without requesting first. Map apps/GPS are usually inaccurate. Please read the message I send you after booking is confirmed or you might get lost. Print my directions or screenshot them on your phone. Service can be spotty in this area.
