The Barn at Shamrock Farm is a smoke-free fully furnished and stunning modern farmhouse style home that is located in a country setting with 2 queen size beds, 1 trundle bed (2 twin size mattresses) with PLENTY of space to stretch out and relax! Located just 5 miles from Ohio University Campus Athens and just 32 miles from Hocking Hills-perfect for a couples getaway or for a family adventure, you will enjoy the peacefulness and all that our home has to offer including hiking on our land. The space 2400 square feet of indoor living space with an open floor plan on both levels, a fully furnished kitchen(we do not allow bacon or sausage to be cooked while staying), 10ft kitchen table, we do provide oatmeal and oatmeal bars, cereal and milk for breakfast, plus various other snacks, plenty of comfortable seating and has a 70 in TV with smart TV & DVD player. Upstairs has two queen size beds, a trundle bed with two twin size beds, sofa, love seat, chaise lounge and 70in TV with Smart TV & DVD player. Outside boasts a furnished patio area with 70in TV with Smart TV and DVD player as well as two gas fire-pits, Weber gas grill, and hiking trails on our land (No Hiking October-January). We do not allow smoking or pets BUT you are welcome to love on our family Labrador "Sam" when she stops by to say HI! About service animals: We are aware of the value service animals bring to people, and we are aware of Airbnb's policy of allowing service animals without discrimination unless heath and safety becomes and issue. We have repeat valued guest whom suffer from moderate to severe pet allergies so for that reason we can not allow any animals as we need to guarantee the health of all of our guest. Thank you for understanding. This is a guest house/barn on our farm, our home is next to the barn, you may see us out working in our yard during your stay. Sleeps 4, unless otherwise discussed with the host and an for an additional fee for extra guest staying. Again-No extra guest at all (not even visitors for the day, no gatherings or parties are allowed. We are just 5 miles from the Hocking Adena Bikeway (bike path), less then 5 miles to the Hocking River, just over 10 miles to Strouds Run state park and lake, 5 miles from Dow Lake dam, less then 20 miles from the Ohio river, 5 miles from Stimson Ave-Ohio University campus and the town of Athens (takes about 10 minutes to get to campus from the farm all country roads into town).
