Loftus House // Modern Mountain Living in Katoomba

Welcome to Loftus House, the perfect base for your Mountains getaway! This newly listed, architecturally designed home provides the perfect Mountain atmosphere for you to truly relax, unwind and enjoy everything the Blue Mountains has to offer. The house is located in a quiet yet central part of Katoomba, just a short 10 minute stroll to the village, Scenic World and the iconic Prince Henry Cliff walk. The space Loftus House has polished floorboards throughout and is spread over a north facing block that takes full advantage of natural light and warmth with a timber deck to enjoy a coffee, an evening drink or just read a book in the sun. The home has a modern open-plan kitchen, dining and living space with a cosy slow combustion fire to toast marshmallows and watch the mist roll in. Firewood is supplied for 2 nights. There are three luxurious seperate bedrooms, each with comfy queen beds and air conditioning units to keep you cool in summer, and warm in winter. The main bathroom is equiped with a generously sized spa bath. The upstairs 'wing' with the master bedroom and seperate bathroom also has a beautiful home office for anyone needing to do a little work while away. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to create beautiful meals with ease and there is a dedicated laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer. This is the perfect home for a romantic couples getaway or a family holiday. The living room is equipped with a 50 inch smart TV with free to air channels and a Netflix subscription and an air conditioning unit. Eco Store hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner is provided for your use and convenience when staying with us. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, pillows, duvet and faux fur throws ensuring a rejuvenating nights sleep after exploring the mountains. All linen and towels are included during your stay. If required we can supply a high chair, porta-cot and baby bathtub upon request. Unlimited NBN internet and Netflix is provided. Loftus House is a convenient 10 minute walk to the iconic Prince Henry walk and Scenic World. A bushwalking book is provided for you to explore the countless beautiful nature trails in Katoomba and surrounds. There are endless world-class adventures to have including rock-climbing, canyoning, mountain biking and trail running all within a 15km radius. If you’d rather a more cultural experience, Loftus House is an easy 10 minute stroll to the Katoomba Village. The town centre hosts a wonderful mix of places to see including art galleries, antique stores, retail shops and abundant good quality cafes and restaurants. Stroll to town and have delicious coffee and breakfast at one of the numerous local cafes, go on a scenic drive along Cliff Drive and finish the day with some retail therapy and delicious food in Leura. The next day, splurge and treat yourself to a day spa, a popular “Black Cockatoo” pastry and locally brewed award winning beer at “Mountains Culture Beer Co”. There is something for everyone, young and old. Those wanting adventure, and those wanting a quiet relaxing weekend. We believe you will thoroughly enjoy your stay in our beautiful house and we look forward to sharing our mountains home with you. Loftus House has an adjoined 1 bedroom studio at one end of house that is accessed by an alternative driveway. This may also be occupied at the time of your stay. The two residences do not share any spaces or any of the same walls so privacy and noise will never be a problem. Each residence also has its own seperate outdoor deck and yard area. Guest access Driveway access is via the main driveway from Loftus Street. There is a second driveway that is accessed from Sherman Avenue this is not to be used. You will have access to the main residence, large deck, front garden and off- street undercover parking in private driveway. Other things to note Sorry, strictly no pets allowed due to allergies.
