Secluded Cabin on a Farm near Woods and Footpaths

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it! The space The Cabin is mainly self contained with a short walkway to your separate private bathroom area which includes a gas shower and composting toilet. It has a gas stove for cooking and all the equipment to make a hot meal to enjoy after a good day spent exploring. Lighting is provided via a power pack which can also be used to charge phones, laptops and other small appliances. The power pack cannot support high powered appliances such as a fridge or electric kettle. However there is a traditional singing kettle which can be used to heat water over the gas stove and there is a coolbox. We are particularly proud of the cabin's large surround windows which mean you can enjoy the great panoramic countryside views from the comfort of the king-size bed. Largely off grid, the cabin has no WiFi. We believe this will only add to your stay, allowing you to remove yourself from busy life and immerse yourself in nature for a truly relaxing getaway. Rest assured however, the phone reception is excellent so you will always be able to get in contact with anyone should you need to. Other things to note If you would like to bring your horse on holiday with you, you'd be very welcome! We have great field and woodland hacking as well as access to quiet country roads. Facilities include a 30 by 50 sand school with jumps and some cross-country jumps ranging in height from 70cm to 90cm. Drop us a message for more information!
