Cozy apartment in old chalet with wood heating

The small 2-room apartment is located on the first floor, on the south side of a very old small chalet. It can only be heated with wood. In front of the house, there is a play lawn with a sandbox and views of the Niesen and the beautiful mountain panorama. It is a wonderful starting point for walks or hikes. The river is also 20 minutes away. The cities of Spiez, Thun and Interlaken can be reached in about 20-30 minutes by car or bus. The space The apartment is small but cozy. It is suitable for 2 people or possibly a third, depending on the requirements. In the small bedroom there is a double bed for 2 people and in the living room, if desired, a mattress can be laid down. Since the house is very old, it quickly becomes dusty. There are also many small weaver spiders in the house, which stretch their spider webs everywhere and at night you can hear the dormice and martens fighting and squeaking under the roof from time to time. If you want to spend the night here, you should not be too afraid of the small roommates. In the bedroom there is a large and a small closet. In the living room there is a sofa, an armchair, a dresser, a tea table, a dining table, another cabinet and a wood-burning stove. The whole apartment is heated with the wood-burning stove. It is therefore a prerequisite that you can make a fire and carry a few logs of wood to the 1st floor. In the event that it still gets too cold in the bedroom, it can also be heated with a small electric oven. The bathroom has a toilet, a washing machine and a shower. In the kitchen there is a stove, oven, dishes, pans, cutlery, tea, coffee and coffee maker. From there, a door leads out onto the balcony with another table and bench and hammock to relax. From here you have a beautiful view towards Suldtal and the Morgenberghorn and into the garden with the two apple trees, where there are more seating and dining opportunities to relax and enjoy. The garden is also shared by the other residents of the chalet. In the garden you can listen to the cowbells and the occasional piano playing of the neighbors and in the evening listen to the chirping of the crickets. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks and from time to time you can also hear a small child crying who lives in the same house in the apartment directly under the apartment. In addition, it is possible that the apartment opposite on the same floor is also currently inhabited by other holiday guests, who you may also sometimes hear, as the apartment is very noisy. But apart from that, you can fully enjoy the wonderful tranquility of the mountains and the beautiful nature. Guest access If you arrive by car, you can park your car in one of the free parking spaces right in front of the house. From the parking lot, a staircase leads up on the right over a concrete path on the left side of the house and past the lawn. There, in front of the seat, turn left under the arbor, where the front door is. Behind the door is a staircase that leads up to the 1st floor. There is the apartment behind the left door.
