Falmouth is a quiet hamlet, a beach lovers delight with days of paddling and swimming at Henderson's Lagoon and taking on the surf at Steels or the Falmouth headland breaks. Infrastructure nearby include a well equipped playground just around the corner, tennis court and a book library at the community center two doors up and a pump track for bike skills. An absolute must is the coast line walk that takes you around the outskirts of the whole peninsular, on certain days when the waves are rolling in the blow hole is magnificent. Located 10 minutes from St Marys, less than 10 minutes from Scamander and 20 minutes to St Helens. The St Helens Mountain Bike Trail Head is less than 15 minutes with the Derby trails an easy day trip, with an hour and 15 minutes travel each way. Spindrift has plenty of vehicle parking onsite or street and room for parking of a boat. Other things to note There are no shops in Falmouth with the closest being in either St Marys or Scamander. Being foodie loving people, we have supplied Spindrift with a simple staple pantry items such as herbs, spices, oils, & flours. A Nespresso pod machine and a Soda stream should keep your Cafe addictions at bay until you can make it to Coffee Away or Life Buoy in St Helens. ☕️ Dining out options nearby include White Sands Estate heading south towards Bicheno, a short 10 minute drive.
