The space Welcome to the Cowboy Cabin – Your Private Mountain Escape Our “Cowboy Cabin” isn’t just for cowboys—it’s for anyone looking for peace, adventure, and stunning views! The name comes from the cowboy and cowgirl silhouettes at the property entrance, but the experience is all about relaxation and nature. What You’ll Love: 70 Acres to Explore – Hike, roam, and enjoy the great outdoors (please respect neighboring properties). Wildlife Sightings – Elk, deer, and even bears may wander by—true Colorado living! Epic Views – Spanish Peaks, Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Fisher Peak from nearly every room. *IMPORTANT NOTE*: During wet or snowy seasons, all-wheel drive is strongly recommended for the last 5 miles of dirt road. Inside the Cabin: Fully Equipped Kitchen – Krupps espresso machine, Keurig, GE stove, KitchenAid fridge, dishwasher, wine opener, pots/pans, waffle maker, crockpot, and more. Dining & Living – Dining table seats 6–7; cozy living room with two couches, fireplace, wall-mounted swivel TV, and DVD player. Bedrooms Downstairs: Bunk Room – Bunk beds + twin bed, TV, dresser, closet. Queen Room – Queen bed, desk, crib, dresser, closet. Upstairs (14 stairs total): Master Suite – Queen bed, walk-in closet, sitting area, private bath with walk-in shower. Bathrooms – Downstairs bath with shower + jetted tub; upstairs bath with walk-in shower. Extras – Laundry room with washer/dryer and freezer (bring your own supplies), board games, and a “Take a Book, Leave a Book” library. Dog-Friendly (sorry, no cats due to allergies). *Things to Know* ***PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING***- This is a rural area and true country living. Keep in mind there is wildlife, critters, and insects that could present at any time. That does not reflect negatively on our cleaning. There are mountain lions, bears, elk, deer, turkey..etc in our area so if bringing pets or out walking pay attention to surroundings. The true definition of the great outdoors!** **There is not central AC throughout the house.
