A tranquil and unique retreat that provides direct access to surrounding nature and hunting reserves along the Howard River. Conveniently located close to Darwin, with all the benefits of a serene, rural lifestyle. Consists of a living area, bed room, basic cooking facilities, bathroom, laundry and expansive pool and undercover area. Powered CAMPING/CARAVAN sites available to be booked concurrently (Yakka Downs Campsite) On-site VEHICLE SERVICING available on request. The space The retreat has direct access to vast river systems, nature and hunting reserves and is less than 30 minutes from Darwin City and Gunn Point Beach. The air bnb space consists of a well appointed living area with a smart tv, wifi and lounge as well as storage space. There is a sofa that converts to two single beds or a double bed. There is a small kitchenette space inside with all your basic appliances as well as an outdoor cooking area. The queen bedroom adjoins the main living area with beautiful panoramic windows, with block out curtains where needed. Please note: we have two single beds available but these must be requested upon booking and will be setup in the living space when requested. Adjacent to the living and sleeping area is the fully appointed tropic style bathroom and laundry facilities, equipped with all you need for short or long stays. Your private residence is situated alongside a large shared, undercover entertaining space as well as a large mineral salts pool. For those with dogs, there is plenty of room for them to explore the fenced yard as well as a private kennel and yard for them if you wish. You are a short walk from the friendly farm animals and the abundant nature reserve and river systems (accessible during the dry). Guest access Pool, entertaining area, dog kennel and yard, 9 acres of private land with local farm animals. Adjoining public walking tracks and Fishing holes, hunting reserve, nature reserve and local wildlife. Camping facilities and vehicle servicing available on request. Other things to note We are dog friendly accomodation. For the travellers, we have ability to house campers in addition to the air bnb accomodation on request. We also have on site vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance available, as well as access or support with any tools, Etc you may need to get on your way. We have full wifi facilities suitable for working from home. We have good Telstra reception for mobiles.
