The space Our location on Bumps Creek is a very private and secluded waterfront, mobile home cabin. Enjoy kayaking adventures in the estuary and plan an excursion in the other nearby creeks. Bring your Jet Ski and tie it up at our dock! Nearby attractions include Seaview Pier and the Surf City Pier. Both are popular fishing spots and a great way to mix with the locals. Camp Lejeune Back gate is only about two miles away. The gate to MARSOC is less than 3 miles away. Camp Lejeune Main gate and Visitor’s Center is conveniently only 13 miles away. Marine Corps Air Station New River is 14 miles away. Jacksonville Mall is 15.3 miles away, there’s a little something for everyone. Guest access Early check-in is available for a $35 fee on an “as available” case by case basis. Please message me if you would like an early check-in. The mobile home cabin including its front deck and screened porch are for your exclusive use. The dock, kayaks and fish cleaning sink are all included in this experience. There are two parking spaces on the grass that are delineated with wheel stops. You may also park in front of the garage, if you prefer. The garage is basically empty, and not intended for guest use. Other things to note Please note: this is a 1984 mobile home fishing cabin. It has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. The queen size hide a bed in the living room has been damaged and is not suitable for sleeping on. We have a collapsible frame cot and a memory foam mattress for it, both are stored in the master bedroom closet. There are sheets for it and a couple of sleeping bags. Additional amenities include: -Roku flat screen TV -Wi-Fi -Screen porch with twinkle lights and a table and seating for four -Water side deck with sunrise view and seating for two -Three adult kayaks with paddles and life jackets, to launch from the dock, check the tide tables first, because it’s easiest to launch at mid to high tide :-) -Three inner tubes for floating around in our little estuary -Fish cleaning sink with running water and lighted workspace -Outdoor shower on the side of the garage building. So convenient for washing the sand off after your day’s excursions! -Washing machine and clothes dryer in the cabin -Iron and ironing board -Kitchen with full-size refrigerator and self cleaning, electric, flat top stove. -Dishes, silverware, placemats -Drip coffee maker with filters and ground coffee -Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods -towels and washcloths -Extra bedding in the closet of each bedroom -Hair dryer in bathroom -Fire extinguisher -First aid kit -Games, books, two decks of cards -Our beach closet has a beach umbrella, four beach towels, a beach blanket and a mesh beach bag for your use. Also find sunscreen and Aloe Vera gel in the beach closet. There are three beach chairs that hang in the screened porch -Menus from various local restaurants.
