The space At the edge of the North Norfolk coast and countryside, Church House Cottage is your home away from home. Inside, an impressive vaulted kitchen invites relaxed meals, and the cosy sitting room glows with a wood burner. Upstairs, two exceptionally comfortable bedrooms await. Outside, a peaceful garden and woodland paths lead to countryside vistas. Here, each moment invites you to pause, breathe, and truly savour the experience. Tucked away from the coast road, this cottage rests in an idyllic setting, with the sea shimmering on the horizon. A sunny, south-facing seating area offers a peaceful retreat, where you can take in the views of the 1.6-acre garden, listen to the birds, and wander past flower beds, a kitchen garden, and woodland walksl. The cottage is within an area of outstanding natural beauty, conservation area, and dark skies. The Gunton Arms and its sister pub/restaurant The Suffield Arms is a must visit. Both are a 12 minute drive or Taxi ride away. CHURCH HOUSE COTTAGE: GROUND FLOOR KITCHEN/DINING ROOM Stepping through the front door, you enter a beautiful double-height kitchen and dining space, full of charm—exposed beams, a wooden floor, and brick and flint walls. Bespoke units surround you, with a Smeg 5-ring range, double oven, a microwave, and a Nespresso machine with aerochino—making every moment in this space both effortless and delightful. LIVING ROOM Two inviting sofas welcome you to unwind by the wood burner, whether with a favourite book or enjoying a film or your favourite programmes, and sport with Sky TV. Full Fibre WiFi offers a high speed connection at all times. BATHROOM Luxurious bathroom with elegant fittings—enjoy a rain shower and handheld attachment over a double ended bath. A washbasin sits by the window, and a heated towel rail keeps the space warm and inviting. UPSTAIRS Carpeted stairs rise to a small landing on the first floor where doors open to both bedrooms. You will also find a cupboard for extra hanging space. BEDROOM 1 A king-size dormer bed rests between a bedside table and a chest of drawers, and a restored Victorian fireplace. BEDROOM 2 This charming and cosy room features a double dormer bed, flanked by bedside tables and a shelved cabinet for plenty of storage. A quirky cupboard provides hanging space. OUTSIDE Church House Cottage is the east wing of the farmhouse, with a gravel drive and parking for two cars by a private entrance. There is a 12kva Zappi EV car charger available. Step from the kitchen into a picturesque garden, where a private seating area and a large table beneath the fig tree invite you to linger. Relax in deck chairs, gather around the Weber BBQ, and explore the woodland kitchen, with log seating, a fire pit, and a hammock. The cottage offers private corners to savour morning walks or moments of quiet. HEATING AND HOT WATER Supplied by the environmentally-friendly electric combi boiler and handsomely restored heritage radiators. Guest access Church House Cottage has a gravel driveway and parking for two cars by its private entrance. From the kitchen back door, you step out into a stunning garden, featuring two private seating areas—a breakfast table and a large dining table beneath the fig tree. As the only holiday let on the property, the cottage offers serene private corners, perfect for morning strolls or quiet moments—just you, nature, and the peaceful countryside. Other things to note Please note: We have a policy that guests must be over 12 years of age, and we do not allow pets. This is due to delicate fabrics, antique furniture, a wood-burning stove, steep stairs, and various steps throughout the property.
