Valley Vue - Vintage Stunner w firepits, sleeps 8

Come visit “Valley Vue”, w a view of Ithaca! Stunning & artistic, built in 1937 on 2 acres, vintage eclectic interiors. Living room features vintage furniture, rare paintings, vinyls, & a crystal collection. Beds are comfy, perfect for groups up to 8, & we allow dogs. We are 7-10 minutes to Ithaca, 15 min to IC, & ~20 min to Cornell. You’ll love the view of the valley, and our yard was built for entertaining. There are 2 fire pits, 2 screened-in porches, & a hand-built lean-to/gazebo in woods. The space 2,100 sq foot home with 2 floors on 2 acres. You’ll have 3 guest bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, multiple living spaces (including a large office!) and unique outdoor areas (2 covered porches). If you have more than 6 guests, we can put a full-sized foam mattress in the office, and someone smaller (children, teens, college age) could sleep on the couch as well (will leave bedding.) There are 2 fireplaces and large dining room with a table that can host up to 12. There are 2 firepits (1 in backyard, 1 in woods) and the property overlooks an old growth forest valley, and the town of Ithaca. Guest access 1. You can use all rooms except the ones which are locked (upstairs). 2. Please do not use roof deck at this time (upstairs door leading outside). The roof has soft spots, no railing, and can be slick - so it’s unsafe. Other things to note 1. No smoking or vaping inside. We are herb-friendly but please use one of the porches or go outdoors. 2. No parties. *Small gatherings (up to 15 people) may be allowed outside - just ask in advance. You’ll need assistance with parking. (We’re happy to assist with planning!) 3. FIRES: You may enjoy our backyard fire pits, but please don’t leave fires unattended. NO fires in dining room fireplace. 4. If you opt to bring a dog, please wipe their paws when they come in (towel will be provided by back door.) NO ANIMALS ON FURNITURE. Please don’t bring them if they’re not potty trained or chew/destroy property. 6. Since my home is 80 years old, pls treat it well. The vintage furniture & antiques are irreplaceable.
