Gorgeous Queen rm in pretty village nr. Wantage

Peaceful small room in stunning modern barn conversion with tv & comfy double bed overlooking a beautiful garden in the gorgeous village of Childrey near Wantage and Grove. Warm, quiet & clean with two friendly dogs. Tea & coffee making facilities in bedroom. Help yourself to tea, coffee, toast, cereal for breakfast in the huge kitchen diner. Easy driveway parking, wifi, bills inc. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Special rates with local contractors. The space We do not have children and the neighbourhood is usually very quiet so the most you are likely to hear at night are the lovely brown owls! The kitchen diner is enormous and very colourful with a large tv, radio on Alexa and full of Rhodesian railway sleeper teak furniture like most of the house. There is use of a huge modern bathroom with bath and shower that is rarely used by anyone else. Everywhere has underfloor heating. My garden is my pride and joy with a south facing wall where there is an array of colour from the border. The double cart barn is 18th Century and there is a free space there at times for guests who want their car under cover. The bed and room is more suitable for one but can naturally accommodate two people. There are shelves within the bedroom and plenty of hanging space in a shared cupboard immediately opposite. We have a large dining table in the kitchen diner where guests are welcome to eat or to use their laptops. There is a garden although I occasionally ask guests not to use it if I am seeing a therapy client in the room off the garden. I also have a larger room with an ensuite. Locked shed for bikes available. Guest access You will have use of the huge airy kitchen diner for breakfast, the well established gardens full of colour, downstairs loo and on site parking in front of the house. During your stay I work part-time for myself as a therapist, mainly from my therapy room that is off the garden, so I am free in between clients to help with local advice etc. Other things to note Must be comfortable with dogs! I have two adorable dogs. One 4 yr old Shepherd who love lots of fuss if you like dogs! The other 10 yr mix is more nervous but only barks then wants to siddle up to people for a treat or a fuss.
