Freedom Awaits You! Direct Ocean and Mountain views immerse this 2 levels quaint home. Listen to the ocean and feel the breeze as you look out onto the ocean and village down below. Feel fresh air breezes and the peaceful sounds of this lovely home. 3 mins to beach, 5 mins to nearby grocery stores, 20 mins from the airport, The pictures tell the story. Free street parking in front of the house. Come visit this little bit of paradise and become one of our regular attendees. The space Expect a great location with peaceful and panoramic views of the oceans and mountains. Guests will have access to the entire house. Complete with fully stocked kitchen, coffee maker, microwave oven, refrigerator, bath towels, washer/dryer machines. Note: the first bedroom is a passthrough with no privacy, the second bedroom is private and the third bed is a sofa bed located in the downstairs living room open area. We include fresh linens and towels for the two upstairs bedrooms. There is a flat-screen Samsung TV and LG Bluetooth soundbar. There is also an iPod dock where you can use your own iPod to listen to your favorite music. There is Cable TV with limited channels. Once you leave the house, guests can walk a short distance to a local pub that offers Wi-Fi Internet service. Guests can also drive to the beach area below where a restaurant offers Wi-Fi service to its guests. Guests should map out what areas of Madeira Island they will be visiting during their stay. In this area, the home is close to the city of Santana. There are various famous Levada nature walks that begin near Santana. Santana itself has affordable gift shops and several restaurants where you can eat the famous Espetada (meat on stick). Parque Tematico is also located in Santana. This theme park presents itself as a fantastic exhibition dedicated to the history, science and traditions of the Madeira Archipelago. This is a must for all visitors. Guest access Located just below the home is the beach Promenade area. Here you will find a great restaurant as well as sand volleyball courts and tennis courts. The area received a large grant to revitalize the nearby portion into a beautiful park with a modern walking track and picnic areas. Nearby the park is a Karting racing track where you can experience real-life racing. There are several great restaurants nearby: Ponte Velha (near karting track), Chave Restaurant (near the old church, and the Faial Beach restaurant located at the beach promenade area. Grutas do Faial (a restaurant built in a natural lava cave) is also located in the Faial area. If you decide to head towards Madeira's main cities of Machico, Canico, or Funchal, you will be driving through the new modern tunnels. It is said that Madeira Island has all four seasons year-round. In Funchal, there are places to visit and landmarks to see. At the end of a busy sightseeing day, drive back to the Faial Home and relax in the veranda drinking your favorite drink. Other things to note There is Wi-Fi at the house. Additionally, there is Wi-Fi at nearby restaurants and pub including the one at the beach promenade area that can be seen from the house's top terrace. The house is equipped with air conditioning and heating in all areas of the house. The city of Santana/Faia is charging a City Tax to all visitors, payable at the house.
