Guest access ⭐Guests have access to The Dwellington, our guest house, including the covered patio and screened-in porch. ⭐Guests have a designated parking spot in the newly paved driveway. We have a secondary parking spot on the wide walkway leading into The Dwellington; lots of guests prefer to park there. 🔹️The Dwellington has a small front and backyard that is shared space. Other things to note 🔸️You must acknowledge that we have a medium size dog who is our beloved family pet. He is inside with us most of the time. He has a seperate unshared fenced in area where he hangs out unattended for short spurts throughout the day. We put him on a 15ft training leash when we are outside the fence hanging out with him. He is always put safely indoors when we leave the premises. He is an energetic older puppy that hasn't mastered the skill of calmly containing the thrill and excitement of your sheer presence in his wiggly fuzzy body. We ask that you do not interact with him unless we are present, or you may get lots of slobbery kisses and clobbered for hugs. We would not want you to get knocked down by all the love, so please respect our request and keep your distance from his snuggly face. If you are uncomfortable with being around a dog please let us know. We understand that you may feel differently than we do about our pet. We want you to be comfortable and respect your request to keep our dog on a leash and at a safe distance. 🔸️We would also like to let you know that we keep chickens as pets. They are pretty quiet little creatures, but you may hear them occasionally. Their chicken coop is located in the private fenced in area of our backyard. Just let us know if you would like a coop tour! 🔸️We allow guests to bring up to two dogs per reservation. As long as it has been discussed and approved prior to your arrival. We love furry friends, but they can take a bit longer to clean up after a visit. There is charge a $35.00 non-refundable pet fee for each pet. *One pet fee is waived per stay for Veterans and guests with disabilities who must be accompanied by a trained service dog.
