Catered for families who want to get away from it all. 12 minutes from the freeway The house is a 2 bedroom holiday stay with games room, lounge room and fully serviced kitchen positioned on 30 acres. The property is flat cleared land with cattle and full of wildlife including the local wallabies and an abundance of bird species. Relax in front of the indoor fire place in winter or enjoy the local beaches during summer. located in Boolambayte close to Bulahdelah and surrounding Myall lakes. The space The perfect place to just "Get Away". Guests can do as much or as little by enjoying the fully equiped house and entertainment areas, escape by the creek, be awed by the night sky or explore the area. 15 mins to town of Bulahdelah, 12 minutes from the freeway, close to walking trails and 4WD tracks. 10 minutes to "The Grandis" - the tallest tree in NSW, 30 mins to Seal Rocks, 50 mins to Forster. 10 mins to the boat ramp at Violet Hill camp ground with plenty of room to bring your own boat. The house has an air conditioner in the lounge room, indoor fire place as well as an outdoor fire pit (subject to fire restrictions). BBQ also available for guests to use. The house has 2 bedrooms both with en-suites and a main bathroom. Sleeps 7 people, bedroom 1 has queen bed and bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and a tri-bunk (double and single bunk bed.) Guests have access to furnished kitchen, fridge, dining area, TV lounge room, recreation room with games and a pool table. We have Dexter cattle on site. Dexter cattle are a breed of cattle originating in Ireland. The smallest of the European cattle breeds, they are about half the size of a traditional Hereford and about one-third the size of a Holstein Friesian milking cow. They are tame and love a pat. Some days you can wake up and see a dozen wallabies hanging around the house, because of them, other local wildlife and our cows we do not allow pets on our property. Please note there is a 2km gravel road to the property, be aware of kangaroos and wallabies when entering and leaving. We are registered with the NSW Short term rental accommodation scheme STRA and are compliant in all standards. IMPORTANT: if you are planning a party please look elsewhere. Our home is in a quiet area and we try to respect that. Any parties will be shut down before you finish your first drink! Guest access You are free to roam the entire 30 acres and to the whole house with the exception of one room that we keep for personal storage. Please note driving in the paddocks is strickly prohibited and not allowed. Other things to note WI-FI is available. UNLIMITED and FAST with STARLINK satellite service. Call over wi-fi is available if your phone and service provider are capable of offering the service. We have a Telstra mobile booster on the house. Any of the Telstra carriers including "Telstra", "Boost" and "Woolworths mobile" will have good coverage in and around the house area.
