Close to the seaside towns of Aberdyfi and Tywyn, which have great restaurants, a cute cinema and shops, nearby steam train stop, footpaths from the door, castles, craft centres and exceptional cycling. The space Expect uninterrupted views of the mountains and sea with one super king bedroom (which can also be a twin/triple bedroom), a well equipped kitchen-diner-lounge, luxury shower room, sun terrace with BBQ and sea views and enclosed gardens. It’s minutes from the quaint seaside resort of Tywyn, nestled in spectacular open countryside in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Enjoy 2 acres of grounds, a steam train stop close by and all you need for a comfortable holiday. Within walking distance of a village pub. Enjoy a wood fired hot tub (£20 extra) under this dark skies protected zone. The ideal base for walking/cycling trips and we are close to civilisation, shops, a cinema, historic castles, trekking, outdoor sports and restaurants. All main room have views of the mountains and/or sea. A BBQ, and picnic bench are available for guests to use. There is plenty of space for walking in the big outdoors with footpaths, mountain biking and bridal ways nearby or from the door. Guest access The luxury lodge has breath taking views of sunsets, sea and mountains. Surrounded by footpaths and bridleways which can provide hours of rambling -the visitor guide has several walk suggestions in it for you. There is space to park cars. Tal y Llyn steam railway trains will stop at the nearby request stop in season-just tell the guard you want to get off here. National Rail trains come regularly to Tywyn from Birmingham/Shrewsbury and there is a two hourly bus to Dolgellau from the village of Bryn Crug. Remember to bring good outdoor shoes, slippers and a torch as it gets very dark here at night-with amazing star gazing . Unfortunately we are not able to provide disabled access due to the nature of the landscape. If you're not sure, please give me a ring to discuss. Other things to note Extra wood for log burner is £10 per bag and hot tubs are £30 each DIY or £50 ready for you if we are on site. Dogs are £30 each per stay. The track to the house is not suitable for low sports cars or large camper vans. Tea and coffee, sugar, oil and a few other things are provided and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, crockery and cooking utensils, a cafetiere, washing up liquid, cooker with grill and hob, fridge freezer. Baby and toddler items provided including travel cot, high chair, towels and toys etc on request. We have a small friendly cat on site. This is a no smoking property both inside and outside. We have an honesty policy for any breakages that accidentally happen, please inform us if you have broken something. There is a Coop and Spar in Tywyn 10 minutes away, Asda, Morrisons and Tesco will deliver direct to the door. Machynlleth has a local market on Wednesday which is well worth a trip for local produce. In summer Tywyn also has a market on Monday.
