Sweet 2br/2ba mid-century house, just across the street from a locals-only beach, in a quiet Guerneville neighborhood. With great indoor/outdoor flow and easy access to all the Russian River valley has to offer, the River House is a comfortable and kid-friendly spot to call home for a few nights! The space The River House is fully fenced, with a wide front deck and front yard area that's fully tricked out for kids. (I have a first grader.) There's a grill, a hot tub, an outdoor table for 6, and plenty of toys (water and otherwise) for everyone to enjoy. Inside, there's an open-format living room/dining room/kitchen, with patio doors out to the deck, a cosy fireplace for winter, and a huge plate glass window. The indoor dining table seats 4 (6 if you pull it away from the wall and put lamp on the floor) and there's an inglesina high chair tucked under the wine rack. The comfy L-couch has a fold out queen bed, and there's a TV with Firestick for streaming shows. If you have a wee reader, Lego or train-lover in your family - they will not be disappointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including a coffee maker, gas stove, small dishwasher, full-sized fridge with ice maker, and plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Opposite the living area are the two bedrooms. The front bedroom has a queen bed as well as a twin-size daybed, with a big window overlooking the front deck. The back bedroom has a queen bed plus a cozy and dark "sleeping nook" with a toddler bed, pack n play, and baby noise machine. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The larger bathroom is also open to the hallway, and has a shower over tub. The back bathroom has a standing shower. The big front deck has a table for 6, plus outdoor seating and shady umbrellas. There is a hot tub, a tree swing, and outdoor shower - plus a lot of dirt and toys for playing in the yard. ABOUT ME: I love this house, and use it myself often! I'm happy to share the love when I'm not here. I know from experience how hard it is to find a vacation spot that caters to young kids, so I hope this helps people enjoy some time away without having to schlep SO MUCH gear.
