The newly renovated and stylishly furnished aparment is located at the foot of Table Mountain in a safe area, with restaurants and bars just around the corner. This is where you live. The spacious and extremely bright apartment has a modern kitchen, a dining room with a large dining table and a cozy living room with an extremely comfortable sofa. But the apartment is actually only secondary - everything here revolves around the fantastic view of Table Mountain, Lions Head and the harbor. The space The flat is in a block of eleven flats. People know and respect each other. The flat is about 80m2 and faces Table Mountain. The balcony is almost a room of its own with about 10m2. Here you can enjoy your morning coffee at sunrise - or watch the sun disappear next to Lion's Head in the evening. The whole flat is flooded with light and has high ceilings. The furnishing is oriented towards comfort and practicality. It is meant to be a retreat to relax after an exciting exploration of the city. At the same time, however, it should also offer the possibility to work here from home in a pleasant way. Guest access Our accommodation is located at the foot of Table Mountain. If you are travelling with a car, you can park it for free in the street directly in front of the house block. Even though it is a safe area, in South Africa it is advisable not to leave anything in the car. Unwanted car break-ins can be prevented this way. As mentioned earlier, the neighbourhood is a safe one. You can walk to the lively Kloof Street and enjoy cafes, bars and restaurants. You will also find many small art galleries or second hand shops. Also within walking distance is De Waal Park where you can go jogging or do other sports. Walking or jogging is also possible around Lion's Head, but we recommend that you drive to one of the starting points. You can be there in five minutes. By car or taxi, you can be at the beach in Camps Bay or at the V&A Waterfront with its shopping malls or the Zeitz Mocaa Museum within 10 minutes. Other things to note South Africa is a fantastic country - but what it has been struggling with for a long time are power cuts (laod shedding). These are planned and usually announced. We have purchased a UPS battery so that the wifi also works during such power cuts. This way, when your devices are charged, you can also communicate via WiFi or use other services via the internet.
