Family home in a small town full of character.

Beautiful and large house in the west, 2 hours from Paris, where you can meet with family for family reunions, and with friends around the fireplace, French billiards or large tables. You'll feel right at home for a weekend or more. The 3000 m2 garden (trampoline and games for children), enclosed by a wall, extends to the Orne. Summer kitchen next to the pool with plancha, barbecue. The house, in a quiet area, is a few meters from the center and all amenities. The space Our house consists of a ground floor with 2 large living rooms, with a fireplace in the living room, a French pool table in the other room. The kitchen, where there is a table that can accommodate up to 18 place settings and a laundry room (w (washing machine and dryer and freezer) These bright rooms are all facing the garden and in winter you can make a good fire. This house is our main house and vacation home for our children and grandchildren, it is warm and welcoming, while being practical for families. Upstairs are the bedrooms accessible by a wide wooden staircase. All overlook the garden, except one street side, but very little traffic. Upstairs there is a games room with toys and many books for children when the weather does not allow them to play in the large garden. We have taken special care in the decoration so that our guests feel at home and not at the hotel. The large terrace facing the garden allows you to rest in the sun loungers. Several activities and tours are offered around the city such as, the Haras du Pin, the Rustik immersive park, many hikes, the castles of Médavy, Carrouge, Falaise and others, the Ecouve Zoo, a karting circuit,... Other things to note From May to September, sheets and towels are provided. Outside this period, from October to April, our rates are adjusted, and a rental service is also offered, either 14 euros/double bed or 12 euros/single bed. (The sheets + beds made option is offered all year round for bookings of 3 nights or more) If the rental option is not chosen, you bring your sheets but whatever the choice, it is forbidden to sleep without sheets. We live in a studio above the garage with independent entrance on the street, we meet our tenants only to welcome them and for their departure. The capacity is 16 people, beyond that and up to 20, a contribution of 25 euros per additional person per night will be requested. Information about families with children: although our large garden can allow them to play in peace (there is a pool but it is secure), they must remain under the supervision of their parents, even at the bottom of the park. The pool is open from June to September from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The fireplace is available from October to April. Please let us know if you would like to use it.
