Private “Meadow” Room in historic guest house

The Meadow room is a sweet private room with a queen sized bed and shared bathroom in a guest house in downtown Vergennes. Note that this room now has a one-person maximum occupancy to comply with fire code. *We do not serve breakfast. The shared guest lounge has a Keurig & electric kettle You’re welcome to bring your well-behaved dog. Please let us know to expect your canine friend by selecting them as guests (there is a $35 pet fee per dog) The space The Emerson Guest House is a beautiful, historic building in the heart of the Little City. We purchased this historic home in October 2021 and have been making steady improvements. It retains all the charms of an old house—including squeaky floors ☺️ Guest access In our "Star Lounge" common room, you'll find brewed coffee in the morning, a common TV, reading chairs, and a desk. Outside, there is ample park-like space of our 2-acre backyard to enjoy, with multiple fire pits and seating areas. During your stay We are moving to Denmark in July 2025, and will generally not be around to interact with guests. However, a property manager will be on call to help with anything that comes up. Other things to note Please note there is a shared bathroom that is shared with 2 other guest rooms. As a courtesy to other guests, we request that you leave the bathroom tidy and let us know if it needs a deeper clean between uses. We accept well-behaved dogs. Please include them in your reservation (there is a $35 pet fee for one dog).
