The Rapids Cottage lies deep within the woodlands of Symonds Yat. The large decking area and hot tub allows you to embrace the breathtaking views, become one with the surrounding wildlife, observe the famous pinnacle of Yat rock all whilst listening to the serenity of the river's 'rapids'. Encircling the property is ancient woodland and our hidden outdoor cinema room. The Rapids Cottage is ideally sited for outdoor enthusiasts. A perfect place to hide away from the outside world, awaits... The space Built in 1850 rapids cottage is a place to relax in comfort, whether it be in front of the wood burner or the outside, 4 person William Holland jetted bath, fill like a bath and enjoy this environmentally friendly tub with no chemicals. Hidden in the woodland itself but just minutes from the heart of the village. You will not believe the view! Enjoy mother nature at her best on the extensive decking or meander around the stunning ancient woodland on the footpaths that lead directly from the rear of the property. We aim to cater to the individual and can set up the second bedroom as a king size or 2 singles - just let us know when you book. If you let us know your favorite tea or coffee we will also see what we can do :) Hope to see you Guest access Whole Cottage and grounds Other things to note The stairs in the cottage are very steep and open back so we do not recommend it for toddlers. We can provide a travel cot for a non mobile baby. We have a 4 person outdoor jacuzzi bath. It is not sectioned off from the house. Please supervisor children at all times and we ask for the hot tub to be vacated by 10pm and our neighbours to be respected.
