This Cabin is one of 25 at Son’s Rio Cibolo. Amenities include: 3 pools, 4 hot tubs, gameroom, volleyball, basketball, kayaking, & more! The space The Cabin itself is fully furnished with linens and towels, & dishes provided. It is, of course, insulated & air conditioned with 2 queen beds, 2 day beds, full bathroom, fully stocked & equipped kitchen & a brilliant, nature loving living area (the whole back wall actually opens to the outside for an indoor/outdoor living experience)! This indoor/outdoor living experience is perfect for eating, relaxing, BBQing and reconnecting with your friends and family. But don’t worry, you won’t be leaving the comforts of home behind, the cabin has super-fast fiber optic Wi-Fi and smart TV in case you want to catch your favorite game or show or have a little work to do. We are lucky to have 2 miles of the spring-fed Rio Cibolo Creek for you to explore and enjoy! Creekside cabana rentals are available and can be added to a guest stay, though there is a fee for these and the cost varies depending on the time of year and day of week. It's best to reserve these ahead of time by going to Son's Rio Cibolo website as we routinely sell out, especially in the summer and on weekends. Cabanas come with comfortable wicker furniture seating, picnic table, BBQ pit, hammock, water and electricity. Day rentals are from 10:30 - 6:30 and include entry and kayak/paddleboard access for 8 guests in case you want to bring additional family member and friends for the day who may not be spending the night with us. The Creek has never been known to go dry in this section and the water, being spring fed, it is nearly the same temperature year! The Creek varies in depth from 1 to 8 feet deep along our stretch, there are spots perfect for siting and cooling off and swimming. We keep a number of paddle board and kayaks, rentals are available and can be added to a guest stay, though there is a fee for these , however, our life jackets are free to use during your stay. DO NOT float down from the dam as the creek becomes very narrow and shallow in that direction. You will want to start at the dam where the kayaks are located and paddle up the creek. When you come to the next small dam, you can cross it and continue as that dam is the half way point. You will eventually come to a bridge which is the end of our property and the farthest you can go. From there, please turn around and paddle back to where you started. The fishing is fantastic too with large catfish and bass! Families and friends spend countless hours here swimming, kayaking, relaxing, and having fun, in and along the banks of the Rio Cibolo Creek! Son’s Rio Cibolo has lots of amenities off the creek too to enjoy as well, including: 3 pools, 4 hot tubs, basketball court, volleyball court, miles of hiking trails, horseshoe pits, game room with pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, ping pong table, horseshoes and more! At night, each cabins has their own firepit so guests can hang out around the campfire under the stars, roasting marshmallows and having fun. There are also many picnic tables, BBQ pits, hammocks and comfy furniture located throughout the property to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Guest access Guest have access to all the many amenities at Son's Rio Cibolo property including the pools, hot tubs, game room, play courts and more! Other things to note Rio Cibolo Ranch is located next door. It is an event center and part of the Son's portfolio of properties. It is perfect for company picnics, family reunions and other large events. It can be rented at an additional price.
