Welcome to The Trip House! This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home features an incredible backyard patio and a newly installed 5-hole miniature golf course, making it the perfect place for fun and relaxation. Ideally located just 0.6 miles from the beach and only 15 minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine, our home offers the best of both land and sea. We look forward to hosting you! The space IMPORTANT This is a one-story home*** Please note we DO NOT TOLERATE PARTIES OR LARGE GATHERINGS. The number of guests in your reservation MUST match the number of guests who will be in the house at all times, which is no more than 8 guests at any given time. There will be a $500 fine for violating this policy and you will be asked to vacate the property. -You must be 25 years old to rent the Trip House. CLEANING - Our home is professionally cleaned and disinfected between each guest according to CDC guidelines and recommendations. We take the cleaning of our home very seriously and will do our best to maintain the safety of all our guests. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. ABOUT OUR HOME This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home features brand-new Dream Cloud and Nectar Mattresses for your ultimate comfort. Just 0.6 miles from the beach, it’s nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. With several beach access points within 2 miles, you can easily walk, bike, or drive to both St. Augustine Beach and Crescent Beach for the perfect day by the ocean. As you step into the house, you’ll find a welcoming dining area with seating for four. On the wall, our large Trip House chalkboard highlights nearby spots for coffee, food, and fun, along with some of our local favorites that are worth the drive. The dining area flows seamlessly into the fully stocked kitchen, complete with everything you need—pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and more—if you choose to dine in during your stay. To the left, you’ll discover the beginning of our split floor plan featuring two inviting guest rooms. The first room offers a comfortable queen-size bed, accompanied by two nightstands, lamps, and a cooling ceiling fan. The second room boasts a unique bunk bed with a trundle pull-out—ideal for kids or adults, as the lower bunk converts to a full-size bed. With an array of toys and a spacious closet for storage, there’s plenty of room to relax. Conveniently, these bedrooms are adjacent to a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. Heading to the other side of the house, you’ll find an expansive living room featuring a large sectional couch—ideal for lounging or extra sleeping space—and a 55-inch TV with Roku for all your streaming needs. Across from the living room is a chic, retro-inspired sitting area from the 80s, complete with a vintage radio and record player. Enjoy a nostalgic ambiance as you reminisce about your day at the beach. Finally, you’ll find the master bedroom featuring a luxurious king-size bed with an exceptionally comfortable mattress. It offers ample closet space for all your storage needs and a private en-suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. Return to the living room and step through the large sliding glass doors into our backyard oasis. A spacious paver area leads to a generous deck outfitted with comfortable patio furniture—perfect for relaxing outdoors. Overhead string lights create a warm ambiance for enjoying meals or cocktails al fresco. The paver area also serves as a fun space for friendly games like cornhole or Kan Jam, while our stone fire pit in the yard is ideal for cooler evenings and s’mores. We’ve added extra fun for your group with a 5-hole miniature golf course right in the side yard. Enjoy the playful challenges and see who comes out on top! Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a couples’ retreat, or a weekend with friends, we invite you to experience the Trip House and discover why it holds such a special place in our hearts. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire property—with the exception of the owner’s/cleaner’s closet—ensuring that the rest of the space is completely private. Other things to note There are three parking spots available. We DO NOT have a grill at the house. We have a pack n play, high chair, stroller, children’s bikes, beach toys, toys and books. We have beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach cart in the garage. Laundry machines are located in the garage. Check in time is 4PM Checkout time is 10AM Please stick to these times as we have a cleaning crew on a very tight schedule. We will notify you if the property is ready early. We have a SCHLAGE digital door lock. You will have your own code for the duration of your stay. The code will only work during your check-in and checkout time. BEACH ACCESS The nearest walkable beach access from this home is Dondanville Road, about a 15-minute walk north. If you have 4-wheel drive you can drive right on the sand at Dondanville Rd. There are also two public access points to the south—one at Atlantic & Magnolia and another at Atlantic & Palmetto. Those are also roughly a 15-minute walk. Parking is not great at those two access points as they are neighborhoods with public access.
