R&R Rest Stop is a private studio unit ideal for a single traveler or a couple. It offers a cosy, comfortable home away from home with off street parking. Situated on the edge of West Wodonga, and easily accessible from the Hume Highway our unit offers a peaceful, quiet setting to relax. Continental breakfast provisions are included, as well as many amenities for your comfort. Note: Due to space limitations, this accommodation is NOT suited for young children or pets. (Including service dogs) The space Tucked away beside the Host's home, R&R Rest Stop offers a quiet location with easy access to the Hume Freeway. Multiple guests have described the space as a "quirky", "cosy", "private", and a "home away from home". Our maintained gardens around the home attract bird life and add to the serenity of our property. Note: No pets or animals due to our bird life. (Including service dogs) Please note there are security cameras facing the guest driveway, and the walkway into the outdoor area. This is for your security and ours. We welcome you to R&R Rest Stop, where we anticipate you will have a quiet and restful stay. Guest access For easy access the unit has its own driveway and off-street parking. A garden pathway will lead you to a private undercover area and two lockable doors into the unit. Access to keys will be arranged prior to your stay. Other things to note Albury/Wodonga: Two cities, two states, one very special destination. Home to the winding Murray River and its waterways, Lake Hume (six times larger than Sydney Harbour…), an array of food, cultural icons, contemporary museums, linkages to our migrant history, and indigenous people. The area is a natural playground for kayaking, fishing, all types of water activities, walking and bike riding. Wodonga also offers a unique location of being just a short drive from the Rutherglen Wine Region; Beechworth, Bright, and Yackandandah known for their historic buildings, museums, galleries, gold panning, pottery, food & wine; and also the great Victorian Snow Fields. With something to suit all ages and interests, visitors to the area could easily spend 2 - 5 days exploring what the area has to offer.
