FreeFall Hut: Rustic cabin with outdoor bath

Escape to Free Fall hut, a fully equipped rustic, romantic cabin located on a sunny orchard in Te Awanga. This is the ideal place to unwind, with an outdoor tub to soak in, with prominent vineyards and beaches only a short bike ride away. The Cabin: A spacious rustic timber and macrocarpa cabin with large french doors and a comfortable queen-sized bed. Outdoor shower and bath (glamping style): Relax under the stars in the outdoor bath. Or enjoy the sheltered shower with the shutter doors open to a view of the orchard. Towels and basic hygiene amenities are provided. Patio and BBQ: Light the grill and invite your friends over to enjoy the outdoor space, or simply enjoy it on your own. The patio can comfortably entertain additional guests with a large table and chairs. A large BBQ is available for outdoor cooking. Kitchen: The kitchen has a small seating area for two, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave, a fridge, a small sink, and an electric cooking element. Enjoy breakfast with views over the orchard. The shower, toilet, and kitchen are separate buildings located 10 meters from the main sleeping cabin. Basic provisions: Plunger coffee, tea, and milk are provided. During the season enjoy fresh berries for breakfast left by your host and homemade jam With a local store down the road, a coffee cart selling artisan pastries, and a plethora of local wineries at your fingertips serving brunch, lunch, and dinner, you can choose to explore the area for your kai or make something at home. We are SMOKE-FREE no smoking is permitted on property due to orchard hazards. Guest access The cabin is completely separate from our home and orchard store. Nestled in its own private area the cabin has its own facilities with none shared. This cabin is a two-minute drive from Te Awanga beach and a short bike ride from world-class wineries like Te Awanga Estate, Elephant Hill, and Clearview Estate Winery. Bikes are on site. Coastal cruisers with 7 gears. Not electric. A short drive away is the Cape Kidnappers golf course, the Cape Kidnappers gannets colony, and stunning local swimming and surf beaches such as Ocean Beach and Waimarama Beach. Other things to note Orchard noise: Please note the accommodation is located on a working orchard so some noise from orchard tractors, frost windmills and cars down the driveway are expected during the cropping season November-January. COVID-19: In order to protect the safety and health of our guests, we will be following current advice from the government and Tourism Industry Aotearoa. Enhanced cleaning will be done on all surfaces and areas of the hut between guests. Key collection and check-in are contactless, allowing you to check into the hut yourselves. Animals on property: Free Fall Hut occasionally has some cute cows hanging around and if you look closely, you may spot alpacas in the neighboring paddocks. The cows are friendly, if not curious.
