You can walk down our land and access to kallarkutty lake taking bath inn kallarkutty dam is not recommended for your safety The yoga deck is accessible for your meditation or morning stretching! Other things to note INTERNET -We offer pocket WIFI (JIO Wifi Dongle) to our guests on request with basic speed on request all Mobile networks are available(expect Airtel) so if you are a digital Nomad any mobile network will work also we have a common wifi spot on our yoga deck free to use at any time INSECTS & BUGS (please read): Did you know that a spider can make a new web in under 1 hour? With our biggest efforts to keep the houses perfect and insect free, you have to expect that there will be some spiders, some bugs and some mosquitos. we are a certified ORGANIC FARM so that we cannot use any pesticides to get rid of them That is just nature and we can't do anything more for it. If you don't feel comfortable with that, this is not the right place for you and we recommend to find somewhere else (concrete wall types of hotels) instead. We are after all in the middle of nature and that's what people like about our villa small lizards and insects are our friends. FIRST TIME IN THE SPICE FARM? Tulsi village is part of local nature, our cleaning standards are at the highest, but that doesn't stop occasional insect, furry caterpillar (that should have a sign - do not touch), squirrels, Bugs visiting the house. Please consider this before booking and do not book this house if you are not prepared for an occasional encounter. We are immersed in nature. :) Animals are friends, not enemies. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID19: - All guests will be measured by a professional no-contact thermometer for their body temperature. If their body temperature is repeatedly measured as above 375 Celsius, they will not be allowed to check-in as this can be a sign of ongoing illness such as COVID19. All guests need to wear a face mask during check-in/check-out or when in contact with our team. - Houses are cleaned and sanitised after each guest. - We provide hand sanitisers in the house. PROS & CONS (we will try to be as honest as we can!) PROS: -We promise that you will never be able to forget the view you will witness -Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect to escape the crowded tourist sights and be surrounded by nature. - if needed you can hire a car /jeep/tuktuk + driver to tour (we will never charge more than market price) CONS: -The parking of car will on roadside as of now due to our parking maintenance that is safe and secure -Tulsi Village retreat is located in the middle of nature and you will have visits of "nature's residents" (insects, bugs, frogs). While we keep everything very clean, bugs and insects are normal and part of the experience and cannot be avoided as the house is designed very openly. If you are sensitive to this, this place is not suitable for you. Especially if you leave some of the lights overnight, please don't be surprised to find dead insects on the floor in the morning - it naturally attracts them.
