Have fun with the whole family at this lovingly appointed apartment located in “Jamaica Town” Limón. Awaken from your slumber in true Caribbean style with the cocka-doodle-doo of the neighborhood roosters and get your day started in our fully equipped kitchen with enough room for everyone to have a seat at the table. Your home away from home comes complete with 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 2 bathrooms and a large balcony for the entire tribe to enjoy lounging and taking in the pura vida vibes. The space Approximately 3-4 hours drive from the Juan Santa Maria Airport in San Jose, Limón is located on the Atlantic coast of the country. A Caribbean town about three blocks from the sea; you’ll quickly find yourself transported by the Pura Vida Vibes. Entering the home: Drive right up to your door and enter into a small vestibule with a mirror (to check out that beautiful smile of yours) and a place to rest your keys, so you never forget where you left them. Kick off your shoes and get your vacation started. Walk up one flight of stairs and enter into the living/kitchen area, complete with two cozy sofas for lounging as you watch the smart TV, and six bar stools for everyone to have a seat at the kitchen counter. Need to plug in your laptop to get a bit of work done? The kitchen counter is also outfitted with outlets to plug right in and still be a part of whatever’s going on. The stools have backs on them just in case you find yourself at the counter for longer periods of time. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to create a feast for the entire family. In addition to the usual appliances, (fridge, stove, microwave) flatware, dinnerware, glasses, pots pans and utensils are included, as well as a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, rice cooker, double-burner griddle (for pancakes), blender and Belgian waffle maker just in case you’re feeling inspired in the kitchen. Stop at the local Max X Menos supermarket on your way into town and you’ll be all set! From the livingroom/kitchen area you can access all of the bedrooms and the large covered balcony which consists of a dining area and lounge set to fully take in the Pura Vida vibes. Wall-mounted fans help to keep things cool out there as well as plenty of outlets for you to plug-in if necessary and have use of the included WiFi. All bedrooms have remote controls for the A/C, so that each guest has full control of their comfort. The furniture (beds, nightstands & wardrobes) is proudly handmade in Costa Rica of Guanacaste wood (a hardwood similar to U.S.A. cedar) . The principle bedroom has a queen bed and an attached bathroom, as well as it’s own access to the balcony. The middle bedroom aka our “twinning” room, has two twin beds and a clear view of the livingroom television when the barn doors are open. The rear guest room also has a queen bed and shares the additional bathroom with the center guest room. Need to do laundry? We’ve also got an all-in-one washer/dryer and pre-stocked detergent, so you don’t have to go searching for a laundromat. Staying Charged: We’ve got a multi-usb charging dock that’s great for giving your devices a quick charge for the day ahead. Heading out to the beach? Playa Bonita is less than a ten minute drive away and we’ve already got a beach bag packed with blankets and towels for the whole group! Need somewhere to rest your drinks? There also two portable mini tables in easy to carry bags. Just grab and go! Your comfort is our top priority, and if you need any additional assistance, our co-host, Sergio will be nearby. We only ask that you do not smoke on the premise (inside or on the balcony) and that you be mindful of noise levels as there are tenants below you. Other things to note This is a smoke free property. There is no smoking allowed inside the apartment or on the balcony.
