The Château de la Servayrie in Mouret near Conques is a Historic Monument classified in its entirety for its remarkable and complete restoration, harmoniously reconciling modern comfort and authenticity. The space Originally known as the "Upper Room" of Damoiselle d'Entraygues in the 15th century, it is the oldest room in the main building. Redesigned several times, the Margot room had a bretèche which is now converted into a small terrace overlooking the valley and the forest. It was in 1585 when the sulfurous and immortalized in cinema, Marguerite de Valois, more commonly known as Queen Margot, stopped at the Château de la Servayrie during her flight from Agen to Carlat.
